Chamber of Mothers

Chamber of Mothers is modeled after some of the biggest coalitions in the U.S. including the Chamber of Commerce and AARP.

Through grassroots movements, local chapters, strategic communication, and community-building, Chamber of Mothers unites mothers as advocates to create the country we want to live in and bestow upon future generations.

Chamber of Mothers is an all-volunteer effort, built and run while operating businesses, feeding babies, folding laundry, and doing the carework that fuels the U.S. economy.

PLEASE NOTE: As requested by our members, every other meeting will be held virtually. This one will be in person in Jamaica Plain.

We have heard your cries — at our events, in our DMs on social media, and among our advocacy collective. You are fed up and fired up. You want to be a part of changing the status quo. You want to do things differently. We do too.

It’s in that spirit that we took our national efforts and distilled them into local meetings all over the United States.

After all, it’s easy to feel like the big-picture issues that moms are up against today are, well, too big. Our local chapters are here to remind you that your voice matters. Your dollars matter. Your advocacy at home, at work, and in your community matter, and that you can wield your power to fight for the America you want to live in on a national and local level.

At our Chamber of Mothers local meetings across the country we provide:

  • A safe space to talk about your experience of mothering in America — what works, what doesn’t, and what needs to change now.

  • Connection with other mothers, community thought leaders, and change-makers who want to listen and change the parts of American culture that make it harder to care for your family, engage in meaningful work, and reach your full potential.

  • Effective strategies for communicating your needs and opinions and advocating for change in a way that’s productive and rather than divisive.

  • A Bold and Protective Space for Change - we will share our experiences and devise concrete ways to take action independently and collectively
